Temenos is a bet: that a small group of genuinely different people, living and practicing together for a month at a time, can grow a culture worth carrying back into the world.

The crises of our time share common underlying drivers.
So we work at the level of the drivers: how people relate, make sense, and build together.
Everyone is talking about change. Few are practicing it.
So our unit of change is a month of shared life on land, not another conversation.
Retreats inspire, then disband. The insight rarely survives the flight home.
So we build one continuous culture, carried between residencies by the people who live it.
We're friends who have been living together, who've realised that life can have a grace, purpose and deliciousness when you become thoughtful about how you live and what you want to create.
We see a potential shift in the direction of humanity, and we believe spaces like this are needed for the emergence of the world we envision. The best way to live, we've found, is to seek out rich experiences together that advance us toward personal goals and connect us to a sense of shared progress, surrounded by likeminded, ambitious people.
Shamelessly aiming for the true, the good, and the beautiful, toward “the more beautiful world our hearts know is possible.”Charles Eisenstein
What each of us takes responsibility for.
Daily, intentional practice across every dimension: physical, emotional, relational, cognitive, artistic, spiritual, and entrepreneurial.
The safety and confidence to pursue the thing you've been dreaming of: your vision, your passion, your soul's purpose.
Trusting direct experience over received authority, moving daily, feeling good in the body, staying playful, keeping a strong sense of humour.
What we tend in common.
We gather people who are genuinely different and ask them to build bridges: curiosity first, understanding before persuasion.
We attend to the quality of the space between us, to group coherence, until that shared field of awareness informs everything that happens here.
We hold the container, the ethos, and the shape, then leave the outcome open rather than foreclosing on what it should become.
What the culture produces.
The residency is co-created. You lead activities, share your gifts, and shape the program rather than consuming one.
Collaborations become things: podcasts, songs, films, tech demos, performances, made together and offered to the group.
Conscious space for soul, for the re-enchantment of the world, for personal mythology and the play of symbol, image, and medium.
The residencies are where these intentions become a month of real life together.
